About Us

Brooke Snyder MS, RD, LMNT

Owner & Founder

My journey in the sports and fitness space began during my time at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where I played for the volleyball program. As an athlete, I experienced firsthand how important proper nutrition is in maximizing performance.

I’m passionate about helping others work toward their health, performance, or lifestyle goals. With my background in athletics, I especially enjoy giving back to the community that has given me so much. I love working with athletes across the country to adopt healthy nutrition and lifestyle habits through individualized coaching. Since founding Team 8 Nutrition, I’ve worked with hundreds of athletes — from youth and collegiate competitors to professional and Olympic-level talent.

My nutrition approach blends science-backed strategies with a practical, individualized touch. Whether it’s fueling for peak performance, building healthy habits, or simply feeling your best, my goal is to make nutrition simple, sustainable, and empowering.

In my free time, I love being outdoors. Whether that’s hiking, going for a run with my dog Roo, or simply enjoying a backyard BBQ. I love a good cup of coffee in the morning (or anytime really) and having conversations with new and old friends!

We all have a team of people in our corner who pushes us toward achieving our goals. I hope to be a part of your team – helping you learn more about the importance of nutrition and how it impacts your daily life.

Alexis Rienks MS, RD, LMNT

Associate Dietitian

Growing up playing soccer, at the University of Nebraska and later overseas in Wales, I quickly learned how integral nutrition is to both training and recovery. It’s not just about fueling your body—it’s about maximizing performance and feeling your best.

Now, as a dietitian, I’m passionate about using my athletic background to help athletes and active individuals make nutrition a key part of their journey. Helping others build sustainable habits is what drives me, whether they’re looking to excel on the field or simply feel better in their daily lives.

When I’m not helping the amazing clients at Team 8, you’ll find me exploring new places, trying out different restaurants, and soaking up the outdoors. Staying active is a must, and right now I’m into running, pickleball, and HIIT. As for golf… well, it’s a work in progress!

I’m excited to be part of your wellness journey and help you make nutrition a powerful part of your success. Whether you’re aiming to boost performance, improve health, or simply feel your best, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

I started with Brooke back in November of 2023 as I began preparing for my first marathon at the end of April 2024. Going into this process, I felt I had a good understanding of my training program and the amount of physical and mental effort it was going to take to succeed. What I did not have a grasp on, was my nutrition and what it would take to allow my body to be successful. Brooke made the entire process STRESS FREE! Through one of our many meetings, we discussed my personal needs based on my body type to help my body perform and recover effectively. Brooke developed personalized meal plans that are easy to follow and track. Her check-ins also helped keep me accountable throughout this process. It’s safe to say, without Brooke and her knowledge I would be nowhere near as confident going into my race next weekend. Thank you for your help Brooke, and I can’t wait to work again in the future when I tackle my next event!
